NYLON RAM STOP FITTING INSTRUCTIONS – BT2000 BOX TIPPER
Whilst attached to the handler, being aware of your safety and the safety of others, set the Box Tipper level by eye looking from the front. Lower of the box tipper to the ground and turn off the loader and remove key to ensure that the hydraulics do not operate whilst working on the machine.
When safe to do so remove the old nylon stop block by untightening the bolts holding it in place.
Place the new replacement nylon stop block assembly in position and hand tighten.
Take a measurement between the nylon stop (curved side) stand-off on the hydraulic cylinder down the external casing on the ram.
Add a further 2mm to this distance (as tolerance) and use this measurement to trim off the nylon stop and then tighten the retaining bolts to secure.
Cut any excess material from curved side only if required. This cut side will fit towards the cylinder casing body radius.
If you are unsure of these instructions, please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.
REMEMBER: Safety first. Never work under a suspended load and always lower the rotator to the ground before making any adjustments or alterations.
